Whoa, yes were back.. and that was a great holiday.
Hello, well, its been quite sometime. I have a tan to prove it, yes we have been travelling around Australia.
What a great place, yes this country sure is great.
We have been really busy setting about showing our new season range nationally across Australia. Its very exciting and look forward to sharing this with you over the next few weeks.

I'm excited there is only 3 weekends,
and 6 days until the start of the 12 days to Christmas. That is so very close.
We have had some great photos of Christmas lights on houses and would love to see some more. Even if its not your home. hahaa..

just a little over 3 weeks to Christmas...
What a great day even though with rain taking up the majority of the day today which ruled out any plan for outdoor activites, we were off to the movies. A really funny and seemed like a good fitting movie was daddy day camp.
Perfect movie to get all those budding fathers with their sons, though having said that we were there with our three little ones and it was the best laughter I had. Great movies and well worthwhile.
Any a brighter note, its going to be sunny tommorow. cheers, have a great Sunday evening.

the start of summer...
Its here, its like I have been waiting all year, well yes in fact I have. Its the first day of
summer. The glorious hot days and the well not so glorious hot nights, that is of course unless you are the lucky ones with air conditioning...
Thats not it though, thats not why I have been waiting all year. Its the sun, surf and sand; there is nothing better than the start of summer to get out in your favourite beach gear and hit the surf or well for me its hit the sand. I like going to the surf though just not actually making it in there, just falling a little short right on some soft fun sand... its that feeling you get with no shoes on and it also acts like your own body exfloiate.
On the sand with little ones, this is where all the fun happens. Sand castles, sand highways, water ways, sand shopping centres .. even sand monuments... I love it and so does our 3 little ones.
Its best to spend the time there before 10am with some refreshments and maybe even some shopping (depending where you are) and then back there after 2pm.

Kelvin grove story telling and the Race...

the wine (well juice)...
Efficient, we all know won the Melbourne Cup race today and it seemed to do it with such ease. Its amazing how such a race can and does stop the nation in its tracks for about 5 minutes. I can't think of anything about now that does the same thing and stop the nation, well anything positive anyway.
Today was another action packed day... started off with deliveries, kids to school and then off to Kelvin Grove Urban village. Every Tuesday and Thursday there is free activities for the little ones. They also get a biscuit and drink and parents a coffee. There has been story telling, dress ups and all the little ones love it. Its cute when our 4 year old says can we go to 'Kelbin Grovb Urbin pillage' or thats how it sounds.
After this we went down to Racecourse where all the horse racing action was taking place to have a coffee at the local cafe. It was really fun watching all of the race goers all dressed up ready for some racing action.

the BIG race day... that stops the nation.
Its the day the nation stops and a great day for dress up, yes not just for myself but for my three little ones. There will be the rock star, the race princess with her little hat and cute bag, very cute at 8 months and the little man dressed up in our destressed little jeans and a cool tee.
Will be a fun day at the track in Brisbane, enjoy your day ...

Drive time games...
Do you ever get the sense that the world is getting
quicker by the day, things seem to travel faster and kids, well our children are growing soo so quickly. After travelling every day for what sometimes seems like an eternity we have come up with our version of Aussie Idol.
We cherish our time more and enjoy the traffic time by playing little games and
mini car idol.... basically a cut down version of Australian idol in the car...
it makes great fun, children love it and we start the day with lots of smiles...
there you have it, what beats coffee first up in the morning is having your kids do their favourite rendition of your favourite song... what a blast and guaranteed you will have a barrel of fun and lots of laughter....

Hello its Sunday here at Raq&Joe and we've just spent the whole weekend on the floor looking over what seems like 1000's of photos of our little children and some of our customers who have so kindly let us take photos of our funky clothes on their precious little ones.
We now have a short list of about 150 odd photos which we then realised there was another envelope full of snaps.
They are all great which is why it makes it so hard. Right now, we would like to thank the parents again who have passed on that they would like their little one to star in either one of our magazine media releases or our catalogue. Thank you...
Our little ones have just gone off to the ice cream store. Please email us with your favourite ice cream outlet, ours at the moment is at James Street which makes some of the yummiest ice cream. It is so delicious...
